LANE, Judge.

This is an appeal from the decision of the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (board) affirming the refusal to register SYNCOM for loudspeaker systems for high-fidelity music reproduction. We affirm.

Background

Appellant filed an application to register SYNCOM for loudspeaker systems for high-fidelity music reproduction1 in which the specimens of record, instruction sheets and warranty registration cards attached to the goods, are as reproduced below:
