Opinion

PER CURIAM.

Thomas Hubert Hughes seeks a belated appeal, showing that his timely filed appeal of an August 1998 judgment and sentence was dismissed as a consequence of the negligence of his former appellate counsel. The state indicates that it has no objection to granting the relief sought. Accordingly, we grant the petition and direct the reinstatement of petitioner’s appeal in this court’s case number 1D98-3648.

BENTON, VAN NORTWICK, LEWIS, JJ., concur.
