Proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 78 (transferred to this Court by order of the Supreme Court, entered in Albany County) to review four determinations of respondent which found petitioner guilty of violating certain prison disciplinary rules.

As a result of petitioner’s actions at Coxsackie Correctional Facility in Greene County on January 14, 1996, and a subsequent search of his cell, petitioner was charged in four sepa[588]*588rate misbehavior reports with violating various prison disciplinary rules. Following his hospital release and transfer to another facility, one tier II hearing and three tier III hearings were conducted. At the conclusion of the hearings—each of which began on January 25, 1996 and concluded on January 30, 1996—petitioner was found guilty of violating rules prohibiting, inter alia, threats, violent conduct, creating a disturbance, refusing a direct order and possessing unauthorized literature.
