If judgment is rendered for a sum exceeding the amount demanded in the state of demand, it will be reversed.
This was a certiorari to the Common Pleas of the county of Warren, brought by Hawk and others'to reverse a judgment rendered against them on an appeal.
This reason being verified by the record and state of demand, The Court reversed the judgment.
