THIBODEAUX, Judge.

For the reasons discussed in the consolidated case of Brown v. Louisiana Indemnity Co., 96-1393 (La.App. 3 Cir. 4/23/97); 693 So.2d 270, the judgment of the trial court is affirmed. Costs of the appeal are assessed [279]*279to the State of Louisiana, Through the Department of Transportation and Development in the amount of $1,733.01.

AFFIRMED.
