Predicated on Chuck v. City of Homestead Police Dep’t, 888 So.2d 736 (Fla. 3d DCA 2004) we reverse the orders denying Fausto Gonzalez’ and Sergio Valdez’ motions to intervene in the forfeiture action filed by the Miami-Dade Police Depart[627]*627ment as to $270,080 seized by that department. The cause is remanded with instructions to the trial court to grant standing to Fausto Gonzalez and Sergio Valdez to contest the forfeiture of the currency.
Reversed and remanded with instructions.
