Having considered appellant’s response to this Court’s show cause order of October 3, 2000, the appeal is dismissed without prejudice to appellant’s right to file a petition for belated appeal pursuant to Fla. R.App. P. 9.140(j). See Funchess v. Moore, 766 So.2d 348 (Fla. 1st DCA 2000); Brigham v. State, 769 So.2d 1100 (Fla. 1st DCA 2000).
DISMISSED.
