Note from the reporter of decisions: On November 7, 2013, the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals issued an order remanding this case to the circuit court for that court to “enter a written order specifically stating its reasons for revoking [David Dwayne] Gates’s parole and the evidence upon which it relied.” Judge Joiner dissented and issued a special writing, which Judge Welch joined.
