You have requested our opinion as to whether a corporation, either incorporated, domesticated or authorized to do business within this Commonwealth under the Business Corporation Law of May 5, 1933, P. L. 364, 15 PS §§2852-1 to 2852-1202, may, under the provisions of the Fictitious Corporate Name Act of July 11, 1957, P. L. 783, register a fictitious name which is the same as, or deceptively similar to, the proper corporate name of a domestic corporation or of a foreign corporation authorized to do business in this Commonwealth.

The Fictitious Corporate Name Act provides that a foreign or domestic corporation, either alone or in combination with any other entity,
