Chesapeake Operating, Inc. v. City of Shreveport & Caddo Parish Commission, 148 So. 3d 176, 2014 WL 2818868, 2014 La. LEXIS 1542 (La. 2014).

Opinion

KNOLL, Justice,

concurring in the result.

‘RBecause there is nothing in the record before us evidencing a transfer of ownership to Caddo Parish from the private owners through their acts of dedication for public use, this Court cannot properly resolve the issue presented herein regarding the transfer of ownership to the underlying mineral rights through the subsequent annexation by the City of Shreveport. Therefore, I respectfully concur in the denial of this writ.
