Brooks’s application to proceed in 14 || forma pauperis and after screening, dismissed her proposed complaint without prejudice with leave to 15 |}amend. ECF No. 10. The Court gave plaintiff until April 22, 2025, to file an amended complaint. /d. 16 || Plaintiff did not file, and has not filed, an amended complaint as directed by the Court. 17 Plaintiff Brooks has apparently abandoned this case. For the reasons discussed in the Court’s 18 || earlier screening order (ECF No. 10), plaintiff's case should be dismissed. Since the undersigned 1s 19 ||recommending dismissal, the Court directs the clerk to assign a district judge to this case. Plaintiff will 20 be prejudiced because she has an opportunity to object to this report and recommendation. 21 IT IS ORDERED that the Clerk of Court is directed to randomly assign a district judge to this 22 || Case.
