This is an appeal from a judgment signed August 19, 2005. On January 5, 2006, this court ordered appellant to file his brief within fifteen days or the appeal would be dismissed. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.3(b). On January 18, 2006, appellant filed a motion to dismiss the appeal because the case has been settled. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.1. The motion is granted.
Accordingly, the appeal is ordered dismissed.
