Opinion

Genung, J.:

The petition alleges, and the evidence shows, that construction of the building was commenced in May, 1922, and completed in [126] September, 1923. At the conclusion of the landlord’s case the tenant moved to dismiss upon the grounds (1) that the tenant had obtained a renewal of her lease and (2) that the exemption given by chapter 664 of the Laws of 1922* had been repealed by chapter 628 of the Laws of 1924.
